Dr. Daniela Nyberg is an artistic director at the Bulgarian Cultural and Heritage Center of Seattle. She holds a Ph.D. degree in ethnochoreology (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), MA in Bulgarian Philology with specialization in folkloristics, MA in Philosophy with Culturologia minor (Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”), and a BA degree in choreography. Daniela taught various disciplines (including philosophy and ethnography) and conducted courses and lectures in several higher institutions. In the States, she teaches Bulgarian language and Bulgarian dance, organizes Bulgarian literature events, writes scientific and other texts, and presents at academic conferences and symposia
