Performer Roster Sign Up

EastHUB created this performer roster to have a way for performers to add their name and experience to the roster available to the community for opportunities and experiences. This resource is available to the broader public. In addition, EastHUB looks to create opportunities for performers, which often takes the form of organizing performances at various events and festivals. We are always looking for all styles of emerging eastside artists to join our artist roster, where you or your group will be some of the first considered for all upcoming events. If able to perform in front of an audience or looking for the right opportunity to showcase your unique talents, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll add you to our roster and reach out for any future performance opportunities. We look forward to seeing what you have to offer!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the process to sign up?
Signing up on our performer roster is easy. Simply fill out the above form, and be sure to provide current contact information so we can get back to you. If you are interested in performing at a particular event or type of event, please include that information when completing the form.

We just signed up. What happens next?
Our staff reviews form submissions frequently, and we will typically get back to you within 3-4 business days to confirm that we have received your submission. Depending on our event calendar and whether we think you / your group are a good fit for an upcoming event, you may hear back from us sooner. If you don’t hear back from us within a week, please also feel free to reach out to us at artists@easthub.org

Does EastHUB prefer solo vs group applicants?
We have no preference, and are equally happy to work with solo and group acts. We welcome submissions from diverse local artists for a wide range of programs and events.

Does EastHUB prefer some performance categories over others?
EastHUB welcomes all types of performers. We will be programming for a range of events, including pop-ups, small-scale community events, and larger festivals and concerts. All performer submissions are welcome! Depending on the specific event, some performance formats might be more suitable for a particular program or venue. For more details about specific event needs – or if you/your group is interested in performing at a particular event – please email us at artists@easthub.org

We want to perform at an upcoming event. How soon should we sign up?
As soon as possible. We monitor performer submissions regularly. Depending on the event, planning can begin several months in advance. So the sooner you sign up, the better.

Do performers need to provide their own PA and/or lighting equipment at the event?
In most situations – and depending on the scale of the event – EastHUB or the event sponsor will provide PA and Lighting equipment for performers. Generally, performers will need to provide their own instruments, amplifiers and other backline. We will let you know as soon as possible if you will be required to provide your own equipment. If you have been scheduled to perform at an event and have specific equipment needs, please let us know at the time of booking.

Do performers get paid to participate in EastHUB events?
Each performance opportunity that EastHUB organizes has its own economic scale and parameters that dictate how much is paid in performance fees. Some events are community-level festivals and programs that will have a lower fees/stipend attached. Larger events tend to have larger budgets and correspondingly higher performer fees. Specific details will be provided at the time of booking.

Do union performers get paid union rates when participating in EastHUB events?
EastHUB is a huge supporter of unions, and the hard-won benefits and salary scales that have been achieved for their membership. Each performance opportunity has its own economic scale and budget that dictates how much performers will be paid.

I have another question. How do I get that information?
We’re happy to provide more specific information that’s not listed here. Please email us at artists@easthub.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
