Opportunity
Bellwether is Bellevue’s annual arts festival, and is a free multi-disciplinary arts experience that is produced by the City of Bellevue, in collaboration with Bellevue’s arts community and the city’s Arts Commission. Since 2016, it has attracted a variety of visual artists and curators.
This year, for the first time, EastHUB is coordinating live performances for Bellwether. We are inviting diverse solo, collaborative and group performance artists to participate on these dates:
September 11, 2021 | evening performances
- Venue: Meydenbauer Theater, Bellevue WA
- Theme: Resilience – Honoring our first responders, EMTs, and Essential Workers
September 18, 2021 | afternoon and evening performances
- Venue: Bellevue Downtown Park, Bellevue WA
- Theme: Comm-unity – Celebrating the Eastside’s rich cultural diversity
Eligibility
Performance artists 18 years or older, living in and around the Greater Seattle area are encouraged to apply. We welcome a range of formats, genres, and approaches to performing arts.
Logistics & Compensation
Selected artists, teams and groups will receive fair compensation for their performances, with the minimum fee for these events set at $500.
