In early 2022 EastHUB announced the development and launch of a free comprehensive cultural events calendar for the entire Eastside, created in partnership with the City of Bellevue.
EastsideLive.org provides a platform for presenting organizations to showcase their events via a comprehensive, web-based, searchable calendar and roster. This also gives the public a resource that lists events and groups across the region, not just in their hometown, allowing them to more easily to discover new groups and events. Cultural groups can create a profile and submit their events directly to the website. It’s a free service, alleviating the need for a costly marketing budget and therefore freeing up resources to better serve organizations’ missions.
We have a rich arts and culture community, filled with diverse and innovative groups. However, in our conversations with the community, we were hearing about the need for exposure and event promotion to help broaden their audiences. Likewise, the public has never had a central resource to discover arts and cultural events taking place across the Eastside—we’ve relied on Seattle based resources that often overlook events taking place across the lake or provide an incomplete view of what is available. The City of Bellevue sees this as a need as well, and through our partnership, we developed Eastside Live for the entire region.
EastsideLive.org relies on event submissions from arts and culture groups across the Eastside. If you’re part of an arts and culture organization, we’re looking for your submissions!
Head on over to EastsideLive.org, sign your organization up, and submit your events.
If you’re a member of the public, head on over and check out all the events coming up. It’s free to use and we can’t do it without you, so visit it today!
